Movember is back!

Our Director and Senior Consultant, Robert Hughes has decided to become a Mo-Bro.

As I write this it’s the 1st of November or All Saints Day, Halloween was last night and Bonfire night is in a few days, but it’s also the start of Movember. No not a typo, for those of you that have not experienced this or heard this word before it is the month when men grow a moustache for a month to raise interest in men's health and specifically testicular and prostate cancer. For me though this year is different as for the first time I am joining the ranks of Mo-Bros.

The movement originates from Melbourne, Australia but has now grown to become a truly global movement inspiring some 1.9 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas from the UK and across Europe to USA, Canada and of course Australia and New Zealand. The idea is for the Mo Bros to effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November and through their actions and words raise awareness by prompting private and public conversations around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

As of this morning I have had the last shave of the upper lip area of my face for at least the next 30 days apart from some minor style adjustments of course. My lovely wife has yet to be persuaded of the idea and join the ranks of women supporting their men the so called Mo-Sistas but there is time yet. To help me persuade my wife that this is a good idea I would love some feedback on the Mo as it develops. To aid with this I will be posting regular photos but any suggestions on styles that might suit me is appreciated and if you want to donate to the cause please do so. To see the ‘progress’ of my Mo please go to my Mo page on the UK Movember website or by following this link; http://mobro.co/RobertSHughes

In the meantime have a fun Movember!

Not our Director Robert Hughes but a fine example of a ‘Trucker’ Mo
